A Journey Through the Zodiac

Twelve journals. Twelve different ways to explore yourself.

A Journey Through the Zodiac combines basic astrology teaching with reflection and journaling. Each journal introduces the themes of its zodiac sign, with questions and prompts to help you explore how those themes show up in your own life.

You don’t need any previous knowledge of astrology, just curiosity about yourself.

What is A Journey Through the Zodiac?

This collection takes you on twelve journeys of self-discovery, using each zodiac sign as a doorway into greater self-understanding.

Your Sun sign is only one part of your birth chart. In astrology, all twelve signs have a place in the chart, giving you different themes to explore, from identity and confidence to relationships, responsibility and belonging.

Through accessible basic astrology teaching and guided reflection, these journals invite you to notice your patterns, understand your needs and explore how you respond to the world around you.

You might recognise qualities that come naturally to you, discover areas you would like to develop, or find a new way to understand something you have experienced.

What will you find inside?

Each journal brings together:

  • Basic astrology teaching to introduce the sign and its themes.

  • Connections to everyday life to help you relate those themes to your own experiences.

  • Reflective questions and journaling prompts to explore your thoughts, feelings, choices and patterns.

  • An invitation to put your understanding into practice, at your own pace.

The teaching gives you something to consider. The journaling gives you space to discover what it means for you.

A taste of the Aries journey

Identity · Assertion · Boundaries · Courage

Aries begins with “I am”. It explores the development of the individual self: recognising who you are, what you want and your right to take action.

Through Aries and its ruling planet, Mars, we explore initiative, independence, courage and the way we express our will.

This includes the difference between assertion and aggression. Can you express what you need clearly, while recognising that another person has needs and boundaries too? Can you take up space without taking over?

As we explored in the Aries teaching:

“Healthy assertion says: I can be fully me, and you can be fully you.”

Aries also invites us to consider what happens when we hold ourselves back, or when enthusiasm becomes a push that leaves little room for others.

A question to reflect on

What would I begin if I trusted myself enough to act?

Take a moment with this question. Notice what comes to mind before you start explaining it away.

Your answer might reveal something you want to begin, a choice you have delayed, or a small step towards expressing yourself more fully.

This is how astrology teaching becomes a personal exploration: a theme, a question and space for your own response.

Twelve signs. Twelve journeys.

Come back to your body and explore what matters to you. Reflect on self-worth, receiving, enjoying life and allowing yourself to be present.

Explore Mercury, communication and the way your mind works. Consider distraction, mental energy and executive functioning, including the everyday journey from intention to action.

Sagittarius — Beliefs, truth, ethics and meaning

Explore what you believe and what you stand for. Consider fairness, purpose and the difference between holding strong principles and assuming your perspective is the only truth.

Capricorn — Responsibility, achievement and what you are building

Explore Saturn, commitment and your relationship with work and success. Consider what you want to build over time, alongside the often overlooked qualities of Capricorn as a feminine Earth sign.

Aquarius — Individuality, community and belonging

Explore the difference between fitting in and truly belonging. Reflect on your individuality, your networks and the contribution you want to make while remaining yourself.

Pisces — Sensitivity, compassion and boundaries

Explore spirituality, connection and emotional sensitivity. Reflect on people-pleasing, overwhelm and how to remain open and compassionate while recognising your own needs and limits.

How can you use the journals?

Begin with a sign whose themes speak to something you are experiencing, or follow the journey through the zodiac, starting with Aries.

You can take one question at a time, pause when something resonates and return to a theme when you have more to explore.

You don’t need to have perfect answers. The invitation is to be curious, honest and willing to listen to yourself.
